Research Applications
KPV is widely investigated in anti-inflammatory and gastrointestinal research. As a melanocortin receptor agonist, it is studied for its capacity to downregulate pro-inflammatory cytokine production (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β) and modulate NF-κB signalling in immune and epithelial cells. Research has focused on its applications in models of inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, where studies have demonstrated effects on intestinal inflammation, epithelial barrier function, and gut immune modulation. Its small size and proteolytic stability make it a subject of interest for oral delivery research.
Certificate of Analysis (CoA): Available upon request for every batch.
