Ipamorelin Research Context

The original pharmacology work described ipamorelin as a selective growth-hormone secretagogue and examined GH release in cell and animal models. A later experimental study assessed endocrine responses in healthy volunteers, while other preclinical work investigated ghrelin-receptor-related gastrointestinal signalling in rodents.

These studies do not establish an approved use, long-term safety or body-composition outcome. Ipamorelin is not growth hormone itself, and its receptor pathway should not be confused with the GHRH analogues CJC-1295 or modified GRF(1-29).
