Selank Research Peptide

Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide based on the tetrapeptide tuftsin sequence with a C-terminal Pro-Gly-Pro extension. ZENTRA supplies it as high-purity lyophilised research material in a 10mg format.

The published sequence is Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro (TKPRPGP). Standard Selank should not be confused with N-acetyl Selank, which has a different molecular formula and mass.

Selank Research Context

Published experimental work has investigated Selank in relation to GABA-receptor binding, hippocampal BDNF expression and behavioural models. A small Russian-language comparative study also examined Selank in participants with anxiety-related diagnoses. The literature remains limited, concentrated in a small number of research groups and not sufficient to establish broad clinical claims.

These studies are useful for identifying experimental pathways; they do not prove a customer outcome, an approved therapeutic use or a complete long-term safety profile.
